In Japan, the authentic sound effect for ocean waves utilized in television and movie productions is often created using azuki beans inside a bamboo basket called a "zaru." The gentle rolling sound of azuki beans replicates the natural ambiance of the sea.

"Azuki Wave" effectively reproduces both the movement and sound of azuki beans in a zaru on your iPhone or iPad. Its core is an original physics engine, "Azuki Simulator," which accurately models the individual motion of each bean. Complementing this is the "Azuki Synthesizer," which produces synchronized ocean wave sounds based on sampled azuki bean noises. Although some may question the necessity of such detailed realism, user feedback suggests that interacting with the app offers an unexpectedly calming and invigorating experience.

Engaging with "Azuki Wave"—simply manipulating or listening to the virtual azuki—can serve as a soothing respite during stressful moments or a mental escape on hot days when a trip to the sea isn't feasible.
